Big data made simple. That’s the tagline of Daltix. The Antwerp-based start-up offers sharp market insights into prices, promotions and product ranges to major players in the retail sector. Unilever, Duvel Moortgat and Albert Heijn are just three of the big names that Daltix can count as customers.
She discovered a gap in the Belgian wine market and jumped in: with her web shop Our Daily Bottle, Birdhouse alumnus Isabeau Sas is single-handedly shaking up the classic wine industry.
Although Funkey and Diacé each focus on their own scope, they do have something in common. Both have an eye for the importance of working together. Funkey tries to increase the involvement of employees with their teambuilding activities – a must in times of coronation.
Ever more start-ups’ activities are focusing on the longevity economy. In these times of technological progress, people’s lifespans are increasing and they are eager to take a more energetic approach to their later years, creating fertile ground and golden opportunities for young businesses.
Standing still is going backwards. Or change is the only constant. We hear these types of statements about the importance of innovation almost daily. But merely uttering them will not bring about that progress.
